seed awards
The Catholic schools have created an annual awards dinner to publicly acknowledge the contributions of the many people who, in behalf of Catholic education, have shared their gifts of time, talent and treasure and have given back to the civic community and the Church.
Each school may nominate individuals in each of the four categories: Faculty/Staff, Volunteers, Benefactors/Supporters and Alumni. The Diocesan Board of Education selects the awardees from among the nominees, and they are announced at the Awards Dinner.
All proceeds from the annual dinner go to the Diocese of El Paso Catholic Schools Trust Fund. A percentage of the value of this fund is given away annually to families in financial need.
The Annual SEED Awards Dinner is always on the Saturday preceding the last Sunday of January – the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. This year it was held on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Congratulations to all of the winners!
A special thanks to all of our sponsors, including our Gold Award Sponsors, El Paso Electric and St. Raphael Parish! Thank you for your generous support!
